About
The author has studied environmental science and worked within the historical sector. This website is a mixture of green ideas, politics and several old + current projects.
The author has always had a interest in sustainable/green ideas whilst trying to maintain a practical outlook. At the Northern Green Gathering in August 2008 the author was present on a tour of a meadow where we tasted wild food. The organiser of Abundance Sheffield gave a brief talk on their wild food redistribution project and the project spread to Manchester. This inspired the name of this website and the initial maps of fruit trees. The author shortly afterwards had to leave Leeds but eventually an external project reached Leeds.
Since then I have used it as a data dump!
Over the years I will post interesting projects. Enjoy my productivity (or lack of it) !
This website is hosted semi-locally in Hebden Bridge http://www.greenwebhost.net/mission.htm who use a mixture of carbon offsetting and solar power.
BUT REMEMBER TURN OFF YOUR PC! IT CAN SOMETIMES BE BETTER TO PRINT THAN CONTINUALLY TURN ON AND OFF YOUR PC!
